Remember Your Special Day with a Quality Weddings Photographer

A weddings photographer captures the best moments before, during and after the ceremony. They carry out candid photographs, portraits and group pictures. Photographs of the wedding will be cherished for many years to come and will provide you with something to look fondly on as you get older as a couple.

With the various offers online, it can be really hard to choose which photographer offers the best package and the exact amount of professionalism needed for such a special occasion. There are a few things you need to consider when choosing a wedding photographer and some of the most important are outlined below:

Portfolios - A lot of wedding photographers advertise their services online. The first thing you need to do is have a look at some of their previous work and if their portfolio is available to download, then that is even better. If not, ask for samples and enquire about their photography equipment to determine whether they can to do job well or not.

Photography packages - The best photographers will have packages available for you to choose from. These packages should include the quantity of photos, the various sizes and may also include some special offers, enlargements and an album. If you are able to get the package details in writing, this will ensure you are working with a professional who is able to deliver on what they promise.

Rates - Photography rates should not be kept secret, although, unfortunately this is the case far too often. Prices should be out in the open and they should be attached to individual packages and portrait sizes. Make sure that all costs are laid out before you sign any contracts and this is one way to ensure there are no additional charges after the fact.

What should your weddings photographer provide? Indoor photography - Indoor photography includes pictures taken in the church, reception and the wedding car. It also covers pictures taken in private venues and locations prior and during the wedding, such as the brides home.

Outdoor photography - Outdoor photography covers pictures on the beach, park, or any outdoor location, and will usually take place after the ceremony and before the reception.

Candid photos - Candid photos are taken when the subject is unaware that a photo is being taken and on activities where no one is concentrating on the camera, but instead on other activities during the wedding and wedding reception.

Formal portrait - Formal portraits are pictures taken that you can display or keep as a memoire. These pictures come in sets and will usually focus on the bride and groom, their families and the wedding entourage.

Digital services - Digital services can create digital pictures and slide shows that you can keep and watch after the wedding, it is also often possible to view your photos online as well, prior to receiving or selecting your package.

Albums - The wedding photographer must present you with an album or a compilation of all the pictures during the wedding and wedding reception.
